INTRODUCING
PIERA
Pilates moves me
I found Pilates in 2013 when I experienced sudden intense back pain. Various professionals determined that my hypermobile joints were causing my body a lot of issues. Having tried different means of alleviating my discomfort, someone recommended that I tried Pilates and immediately I loved it.

I wanted Pilates to be a bigger part of my life so I trained to become an instructor and I qualified in 2015. It has helped my body immensely and helps me focus completely on what I'm doing in the moment.
I teach classes locally around Whitley Bay and Cullercoats and live at the beautiful North East coast.

I enjoy learning new skills in order to strengthen my teaching, taking tutorials and reading to gain new techniques so that I can offer a better and safer experience to clients.
I have worked for Deaf Awareness NE to offer Pilates sessions to those with hearing difficulties through an online platform. This has introduced me to a new way of communicating my teaching and has helped me to improve my technique in making Pilates accessible to more people.
I have worked with local businesses to offer a range of different experiences, including Post Natal Pilates and Pilates on the Paddleboard, and have worked at local Pilates and Yoga studios.
